Prairie Warbler - Dendroica discolor
|Chicks at birth||
|IUCN Conservation Status||
The Prairie Warbler is mostly found in the eastern half of the U.S. and they are permanent residents in the southern parts of their range. They catch insects on the wing which is their primary food source. The numbers of Prairie Warblers are declining due to habitat loss and nest parasitism by Brown-headed Cowbirds.
