The Common Snipe is also known as the Wilson Snipe and the Fantail Snipe. They breed in northern North America, Europe, and Asia. They winter in southern Northern America, northern South America, Africa, and southern Asia. Diet includes insect larvae, insects, earthworms, small crustaceans, small gastropods, spiders, and seeds.
