The Vinaceous-breasted Amazon is found in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Both sexes look similar. Diet primarily includes tree seeds, buds, berries, flowers, fruits and young eucalyptus and pine leaves. While both sexes look similar, the males are generally larger, with larger heads and beaks.
