The Scarlet Tanagers are found in eastern U.S. and eastern Mexico. They winter in northwestern South America. The Scarlet Tanager male is usually easy to identify because of its scarlet body and black wings. Scarlet Tanagers mainly eat insects as well as some fruit and tender buds.
