The Eastern Screech Owl is found east of the Rockies in North America. Their plumage is either mostly dark gray (gray morph) or rusty (red morph). They hunt from dusk to dawn and eat small mammals, large insects, crayfish, snails, spiders, earthworms, scorpions and centipedes.
