Harris's Hawk is a medium sized hawk found mostly in the U.S. Southwest, Mexico, and South America. They have also been known as the Bay-winged Hawk and the Dusky Hawk. Unlike most other raptors, Harris's Hawks will hunt in "packs" to bring down larger prey, e.g., jack rabbits. They also eat birds, lizards, mammals and large insects.
