The Cooper's Hawk is a medium sized hawk native to North America and can be found from southern Canada to Mexico. Cooper's Hawks will search for prey from cover and will fly quickly through dense vegetation to capture them. They will eat a variety of medium sized birds and will eat small rodents such and squirrels, chipmunks, hares, etc.

Cooper's Hawks are difficult to distinguish from Sharp-shinned Hawks. Hopefully, I got my pictures correctly identified.
