The Lappet-faced Vulture or Nubian Vulture is an Old World Vulture. There are two subspecies of this vulture. The nominate race lives throughout Africa. The second subspecies is found in the Sinai, the Negev desert and north-west Saudi Arabia.

Their diet is mostly carrion, but they will kill and eat small animals.
